Welcome to EMF UK - surveys

EMF UK - Electromagnetic Fields UK is dedicated to providing simple and cost effective solutions for reducing any potential risk caused by the presence of electromagnetic fields within the home and workplace.

EMF Surveys

A basic survey for low frequency electromagnetic fields (EMFs) is something that can be carried out by anyone who has one of our  EMF meters and an hour or two to spare. The aim of the survey is to find the location of any electromagnetic fields, and then make simple changes to reduce their effects on the building's occupants. When you purchase an emf meter from EMF UK you will receive a user guide to assist you with the process of carrying out the survey and making changes.

EMF Survey Service

If you are situated in or around the North West of England (i.e. within a radius of 80 miles from Preston), EMF UK can carry out a detailed survey of your home or business. An ELF survey will report on the strength and location of low frequency fields. An RF survey will check for the presence of many other sources of emf, such as mobile phone masts, radio transmitters, cordless phones and wireless networks.  The surveys can of course be combined.

EMF UK use professional purpose-designed equipment when carrying out a survey. Triaxial meters are used to measure magnetic and electrical field strengths. Spectrum analyzers are used for accurate three-dimensional analysis of low frequency fields and determination of the frequency and source of RF or microwave sources.

The results of the survey will be provided in a full written report.

Currently surveys can be carried out during weekday mornings or evenings and some weekends. The cost  will depend on the depth of the survey, the size of the property and its distance from Preston, where EMF UK are based. ELF surveys start from £99, RF surveys from £119 and combined surveys from £175. Several neighbouring properties can share a survey at a reduced rate. Please email us with your requirements to obtain a competitive quote.
